Position: Creative Manager (Art Director)
Salary: MYR8,000 – MYR12,000
Working location: Bangsar South, KL
Working day Mon - Fri
Working hours 9am to 6pm
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers and other creative specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing creative culture within the team, encouraging creativity, innovation, and excellence.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
- Creative Strategy and Direction:

- Develop and execute creative strategies that align with the overall brand vision and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and communications, to ensure creative initiatives are in line with their goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, leveraging this knowledge to drive creative innovation and excellence.
- Project Management:

- Oversee and manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring their timely delivery, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Set project priorities, allocate resources effectively, and manage budgets to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors, when necessary, to enhance creative capabilities and expand the team's capacity.
- Design and Concept Development:

- Lead the conceptualization and development of creative campaigns, branding initiatives, and marketing materials.
- Create and present design concepts, storyboards, and mock-ups to stakeholders, providing clear and compelling visual representations of ideas.
- Ensure consistency and cohesiveness in visual messaging across all creative assets. 5. Brand Management:
- Serve as a brand custodian, ensuring brand guidelines are maintained across all creative executions.
- Develop and evolve the brand's visual identity, keeping it fresh, relevant, and aligned with the target audience.
- Monitor and assess market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in design, fine arts, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8-10+ years) as a Creative Manager or similar role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing creative teams.
- Extensive knowledge of design principles, including graphic design, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) & Mid Journey
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Exceptional creativity and the ability to generate original ideas and concepts.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies to stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and managing brand guidelines and maintaining brand consistency.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Having experience in animation and motion graphics would be an added advantage.
