• Lead engineering team on IOT/Communication product design development.
• Will work closely with business team to define product requirements/specifications based on market requirement and to architect the product design and development meeting the feature & quality expectation.
• Organize team activities in mechanical/Electrical/Software design and validation.
• Work with program manager to ensure design schedule, prototype builds, cost and quality goals are met.

• Lead product feasibility study and architectural design
• Lead product and feature development
• To define system/robustness test and guide test team perform test verifications to ensure the designs comply with product requirement.
• To drive product design deliverables and meet the major project milestone and to ensure the product shipping on schedule.
• To work with cross functional team members within the organization and customers with different cultures and comfortable to work with virtual team members from remote sites.
• Organize team activities in product design, parts design and validation.
• Ensure design schedule, prototype builds, cost and quality goals are met
• Lead a team of engineers and/or designers through different phases of the product development.

 Job Requirement

• Engineering degree holder or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Higher degree is preferred.
• Min 7 years’ experience in Product Development environment.
• Knowledgeable in emerging technologies, state of art mechanical/Electrical/Software design, material/tooling trend including but not limited to mobile, automotive and medical industries.
• Knowledge on materials, processes and simulation.
• Proven experience in providing technical solutions on product design.
• Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to see assignments through to completion with minimal oversight. Good communication and influencing skills to work across the functional team.
• Familiarize with international standard such as MIL standard, certification standard etc.
• Prior experience in mobile, automotive, medical devices is added advantage.
