    Position: Finance Business Partner (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction experience)

    Working Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor

    Working Hours: Mon – Fri 9am-6pm

    Salary Range: Basic RM11,000~RM15,000

     

    Job Responsibilities

    • Understand the business model of mechanical and electrical general contracting (integrated design, procurement, and construction), participate in the full-cycle management of the project, and provide decision-making support from a financial perspective.
    • Collaborate with the project team to formulate project budgets, cost control nodes, and profit targets to ensure that financial goals are aligned with business strategies.
    • Regularly output business analysis reports, identify risks such as project cost overruns and profit margin fluctuations, and make optimization suggestions.
    • Lead the financial accounting of the EPC project throughout the entire cycle, including contract revenue recognition, cost collection, project settlement and tax planning.
    • Monitor project cash flow, coordinate funding plans, and ensure compliance and efficiency at key nodes such as project payment recovery and supplier payment.
    • Build a project financial model to evaluate core indicators such as project return on investment (ROI) and net present value (NPV).
    • Provide project performance evaluation indicators for various departments.
    • Establish a mechanical and electrical engineering cost database, analyze cost drivers such as equipment procurement, labor, and subcontracting, and optimize the cost structure.
    • Supervise compliance in project execution to ensure compliance with accounting standards, industry policies and internal control requirements.
    • Promote the digitization of business processes (such as ERP system optimization) to improve the efficiency of business and financial data circulation.
    • Develop a standardized project financial control manual and training mechanism based on the characteristics of EPC projects.

     

    Requirement

    1. Bachelor degree or above, major in finance, accounting, finance or electromechanical, etc., intermediate accountant qualification, CPA/CMA preferred.

    2. More than 5 years of financial management experience, more than 3 years of financial BP or project finance experience in engineering companies (electromechanical/construction preferred).

    4. Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools, and skilled in using the EPC industry ERP system.

    5. Possess business and financial logic thinking, and be able to quickly disassemble the cost structure and profit drivers of electromechanical engineering.

    6. Excellent cross-departmental communication skills, and be able to promote problem solving under high-pressure environments.

    7. Have experience in financial management of large electromechanical general contracting projects (such as municipal engineering, industrial plants, new energy power stations, and data center construction).

    8. Able to accept business trips to Malaysia, Spain, etc.
