Position: Project Sales & Development Executive

Company: Food Manufacturer

Salary: MYR4,000 – MYR5,000

Working location: Senai

Working time: Mon – Fri: 8:00am – 5:30pm

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring accurate and efficient communication of project requirements and feedback.
  • Follow up and drive overall project schedules, setting and monitoring timelines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with OEMs, Sales, R&D, QA, Planning, and Procurement teams to align resources and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Participate in the full cycle of new product development, including spec confirmation, sample handling, feedback follow-up, and improvement suggestions.
  • Manage product improvement projects, such as formula updates, packaging changes, or cost adjustments, while maintaining delivery continuity.
  • Combine client needs with company capabilities to develop suitable quotations and solutions, and support commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor and address potential project issues such as production delays or quality concerns, and proactively coordinate resolutions.
  • Maintain and organize all project documentation, including formulas, labels, quotations, and communication records.
  • Conduct regular client follow-ups to maintain strong relationships, assist with after-sales issues, and collect improvement feedback.
  • Collect market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to provide insights that inform sales strategy and product innovation.
  • Perform other project or client-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

 

 

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
  • With relevant experience in food industry preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Extensive sales experience.
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Professional yet affable disposition.
  • Great networking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
