Job Position:  Children's Centre Instructor
Salary Range: Basic from RM3000- RM5000
Working hours : Tuesday - Sunday (9am - 7pm)

Job Summary: 

This role is designed for an individual who is passionate about fostering creativity and learning in children through a variety of engaging activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting art classes, paper folding sessions, painting activities, creative learning experiences, and providing entertainment that captivates and educates young minds.

Job Scopes 

  1. Art Classes: Plan and conduct art classes that cater to various age groups, focusing on developing artistic skills and encouraging self-expression through different mediums
  2. Paper Folding: Teach and guide children in the art of paper folding (origami), ensuring that sessions are both educational and fun
  3. Painting Activities: Organize and lead painting sessions, introducing children to different painting techniques and styles while promoting creativity and confidence
  4. Creative Learning: Develop and implement creative learning activities that stimulate cognitive development, problem-solving skills, and imaginative thinking
  5. Entertainment: Provide entertainment that engages and entertains children, including storytelling, interactive games, and themed events
  6. Safety and Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during activities, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment
  7. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on their children's progress and achievements
  8. Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment, sharing ideas and best practices for enhancing the children's experience
  9. Resource Management: Manage and organize art supplies, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are readily available and in good condition for all activities

Job Requirements

  1. Experience in teaching or working with children in an educational or recreational setting
  2. Strong background in art, painting, and creative activities
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4.  Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children
  5. Ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for children
  6. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
  7. Degree or coursework in Education, Art, Child Development, or a related field is preferred
