Position: Junior Design Engineer
Salary Package: RM2,000 - RM3,500 + Allowances
Working Location: Gelang Patah, JB
Company Background: Lighting Manufacturing Company (MNC) 
Working Days & Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.30pm ; Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm

Job Descriptions:

1. Designing New Product using 2D or 3D software tools for transport lighting and Interior Panels technologies for Bus & Railways. 

2. To recommend with the development of lighting and interior systems to match the requirements.

3. Designs new products independently and creates offer images in cooperation with sales and project manager.

4. Test product solutions by building prototypes.

5. Ensure the mechanical/electrical functionality and conformity of products. 

6. Responsible for the schedule of their own planning.

7. Responsible for the detailed design of the components to be purchased.

8. Reviewing New Drawing or Specification from Customer/Supplier in-line with design intend or process capability.

9. Supporting production to ensure that product comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system through glass case samples, S.O.P’s, PFMEA, Control Plans, drawings and technical specifications to assist with manufacturing.

10. Support relevant departments, including First Article Inspection activities in Quality and troubleshooting in production.

11. Complies with all safety rules, regulations, ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and ISO14001 Environmental Management System.

12. Any other task or work given by superior or management 

 

Job Requirements: 

1. At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience.

2. At least Diploma in any engineering fields.

3. Designing New Product using 2D or 3D software tools.

4. Ensure the mechanical/Electrical functionality and conformity of products.

5. Designs new products independently and creates offer images in cooperation with sales and project manager.

6. Test product solutions by building prototypes.

7. Reviewing New Drawing or Specification from Customer/Supplier in-line with design intend or process capability.

8. Responsible realization of any other assignment delegated by Management.
